That&#8217;s the spirit of Ozu&#8217;s film. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Wim Wenders made two great documentaries one was Buena Vista Social Club and another <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=dW-7ZVzDMdU&#038;feature=related\">Tokyo-Ga.<\/a> Wim Wenders is responsible for increased attention paid to Ozu. <\/p>\n<p>Aki Kaurismaki calls Ozu <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=7ZPpnd4hTVw&#038;feature=related\">a mathematician<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Jim Jarmusch on Ozu (He <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jim-jarmusch.net\/miscellanea\/author_jim_jarmusch\/appraisals\/yasujiro_ozu.html\">mentioned Kawakita Kazuko<\/a> a formidable pioneer distributor of Japanese films to Europe and vice versa)  in the article<\/p>\n<p>Ozu&#8217;s grave &#8220;MU&#8217; shows up in many of these documentaries.
