It was inspired by the financial scandals of the early 1870s<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Anthony_Trollope\">Anthony Trollope<\/a> (born on April 24, 1815)<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>W. H. Auden wrote of Trollope as follows: &#8220;Of all novelists in any country, Trollope best understands <strong>the role of money<\/strong>.
